Weekends In Connecticut!

Better Weekends!

Movies first!

Senior Moment is adorable! FYI – William Shatner just turned 90 and is a leading man in this movie along with Jean Smart and Christopher Lloyd! After drag racing in his vintage convertible in Palm Springs, a retired NASA test pilot loses his license and learns to navigate love and life again.

Dame Judy Dench gives a powerful performance in Six Minutes to Midnight: UK, Aug. 15, 1939: 17 days before WWII, an English teacher and his camera disappear on a coastal boarding school with 20 German teen girls. Miller gets the job 6 days later, secretly trying to find out what happened.

And I personally recommend watching Genius: Aretha - Soul legend Aretha Franklin received the television-miniseries treatment with the third installment of National Geographic's Genius anthology series, but the first about a woman, following seasons on Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso. You can watch the first episode on demand now to catch up to date this Sunday!

This weekend Passover begins and it’s Palm Sunday - for the best Spring and Religious Movies, check out our Better Weekend Blog: The top on the list is The Greatest Story Ever Told with Max von Sydow and Charlton Heston, in the lengthy epic that portrays the life of Jesus Christ from his birth in Bethlehem to his crucifixion and resurrection.
