HuskyTHON 2021!

Amidst a global pandemic, UConn Students will be hosting their 22nd Annual HuskyTHON Dance Marathon to celebrate their year-long fundraising efforts For The Kids and families at Connecticut Children’s. This weekend, over 2,500 UConn students will be dancing and celebrating both virtually and in-person during their once in a lifetime HuskyTHON weekend long event. For the past twenty-two years, HuskyTHON Dance Marathon, New England’s largest student-run philanthropy, has committed itself to fundraising for Connecticut Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

In 2020, HuskyTHON raised an impressive $1,520,234.96. In addition to HuskyTHON’s monetary success, the organization also holds a deep impact on the UConn Community, bringing students together to unite for one cause. Although this year looks a little different, participants have been fundraising all year and will be dancing and celebrating this weekend for two fun filled eighteen hour days. This hybrid event will feature limited in-person components and will be fully accessible to the community on one cohesive live-stream.

This year, participants join together to “Imagine A World” with the mission of bettering the lives of the children, families, nurses, doctors, and staff at Connecticut Children’s. At 7.P.M this Sunday, HuskyTHON will reveal their final year-long fundraising total to conclude the weekend-long event, sharing their total amount of money raised, but more importantly the amount of miracles made possible. HuskyTHON can’t do this alone! Together as a community they are stronger. They need your support to “Imagine A World” For The Kids.

WHEN: Saturday, March 20th 2021 from 10.A.M to 7.P.M & Sunday, March 21st 2021 from 10.A.M to 7.P.M.

WHERE: Lives Stream available at www.huskython.org.

In-person components at University of Connecticut Student Union (Storrs Campus).

Each year, thousands of UConn students band together for the common goal of a better life for the children and families of Connecticut Children’s. Students, known as “dancers”, organize teams and sponsor a child and fundraise year-round for the common goal of helping kids in need. This is what makes HuskyTHON a unique philanthropy and experience, as the students get to interact and build relationships with the children and families who benefit from the money the students have raised all year long.
