Yvette Highsmith-Francis, MM
Yvette is the Vice President of Community Health Center, Inc.’s Eastern Region. Yvette has worked with CHCI for 24 years in a variety of capacities. In her current role, she oversees eight of the fourteen CHCI locations in New Britain, Enfield, Hartford, Middletown, Clinton, Old Saybrook, New London and Groton as well as the School Based Health services across the state.

Please note: We are doing our best to honor all vaccination appointments. Due to shortages of vaccine nationally, it may be necessary to reschedule or cancel some appointments. We will notify you if vaccine supply will not permit us to vaccinate you on the date you are scheduled.
Scheduling a Vaccine Appointment
Community Health Center can only provide vaccines to individuals that have received an invitation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS)or scheduled by calling 877-918-2224 or 211.Please do not call CHC to book an appointment.
Eligible individuals may alsoself-register online by clicking here.
If you schedule through 211, you will schedule your second dose appointment at the same time you schedule your first dose. If you schedule through VAMS, you should return to VAMS to schedule your second dose.
We will attempt to bill your insurance for the vaccine, however if you do not have insurance this will not prevent you from getting the vaccine. Individuals will not be billed.
If you are not eligible for the vaccine at this time, you should continue to practice regular safety measures including wearing a mask, washing your hands regularly, maintaining social distance from others, and getting tested regularly.
