Like we NEED an excuse to argue pizza quality!! Today is National Pizza Pie Day...not to be confused with National CHEESE Pizza Day which is in September. MY favorite is Frank Pepe's Napoletana! AND YES, even though the ORIGINAL on Wooster Street is still the best, the franchised locations in Waterbury and Manchester and Fairfield are all very good too!
So where is your favorite? Had a few calls today talking about Bella Luna in Meriden, John & Maria's in North Branford/East Haven, Vinnie & Dominic's in Southington and Alex's in Mystic.
My hometown faves....DIMATTEOS and SORRENTOS in HAMDEN!
