Max Cares Foundation, Inc. has announced the Max Cares Holiday Giveback food distribution event to be held this Saturday, December 19 from 10am to 2pm in downtown Hartford. The non-profit will be providing 500 holiday meal kits, a grocery bag filled with everything needed to make a complete, nutritious holiday dinner for a household. The event will be held while supplies last in the Hartford Municipal Parking Lot located at 1203 Main Street (directly across the street from Dunkin' Donuts Park).
Max Cares Foundation's Roasts for the Holidays campaign has been providing holiday dinners to thousands of Greater Hartford and Greater Springfield individuals and families via soup kitchens and shelters since 2017. Acknowledging the enormous impact the pandemic has had on our communities in 2020, the foundation has doubled its matching gift commitment to $20K in the hopes of serving more families experiencing food insecurity.
Any individuals who would like to help Max Cares Foundation feed as many people as possible this holiday season, can contribute to the Roasts for the Holidays matching gift challenge by visiting the foundation’s website maxcaresfoundation.org by December 18.
