Covid Update: Most of CT under Red Alert, No Sports , Guidance & Travel

Nearly all of Connecticut’s cities and towns are being categorized under a ‘Red Alert’ when it comes to COVID-19 cases being seen.

36,339 tests were administered and 2,353 came back positive (6.48% rate)

840 patients are currently hospitalized (increase of 24)

Recently, Gov. Ned Lamont started releasing the infection rates being seen in each community on a weekly basis.

On Thursday, Lamont said 96 percent of the state’s population is under a ‘Red Alert.’

He feels our next Covid peak will be in January.
