Hungerless Holiday's with The Hometown Foundation

Hungerless Holiday's interview with Jamie Hughes, Relationship Manager - The Hometown Foundation, Inc.

Everyone looks forward to the joys of celebrating over a family meal during the holiday season. Sadly, the thought of having a Thanksgiving Dinner is one that many families dream of, but are not fortunate enough to enjoy. This is why The Hometown Foundation, Inc. is proud to host its annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive to provide turkeys to families in need during the holiday season. The Thanksgiving Turkey Drive is the signature fundraising event for the Individuals in Need initiative of The Hometown Foundation, Inc.

The Thanksgiving Turkey Drive is an event devoted to donating turkeys to families in need during the holiday season and community outreach. In 2019, turkeys were distributed in the Bronx, Yonkers, Harlem, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Hartford, Boston, New Haven County and Fairfield County. During the 2019 Thanksgiving season over 15,000 turkeys and thousands of pounds of produce were donated to the Greater Northeast.

In 2020, The Hometown Foundation, Inc. is going to take this inspiring event one step further. Our goal is to donate 25,000 turkeys across the Northeast and Florida.

The Hometown Foundation, Inc. in partnership with local community leaders and businesses, will come together to create dedicated distribution centers for those in need during the holiday season. Our goal is simple, we strive to bring communities together to ensure no family is left hungry or in need during the holiday season.
