Please join us on Saturday, November 14th betweenthe hours of 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at New Britain’s Bee Hive Stadium. We will be wrapping care package items, making cards and including family photos for our soldiers. Our Care Packages will be shipped off in time for the holidays. This event will follow all Covid-19 social distancing protocols.
DJ John " The Caddy Man" Seville of iHeartRadio will provide the entertainment. We will also have raffles and a contest.
New this year, please decorate your cars with a patriotic theme or, if you are a Veteran, please decorate your car with the branch you served in so we can personally thank you for your service. We'd like to especially thank our Veterans in attendance and honor our military personnel as well. We will award a prize to the car with the best decorations.
The event is being held inside the stadium concourse which is a large open air space. We will be limiting the number of people in the space at any one time in order to comply with all Covid-19 guidelines and to ensure that you are in a safe environment. Tables, tape, scissors, pens, etc. will all be sanitized between groups of people utilizing a specific table. Please feel free to bring your own tape and scissors if you are more comfortable with that.
In order to maintain the appropriate number of people and eliminate congestion and people queuing up, we are asking volunteers coming to wrap Care Packages to reserve a 30 minute block of time for a specific wrapping station.
