Listen here:
New Haven Restaurant Week presented by Citizens Bank, will return to the Elm City from Sunday, September 13 through Saturday, September 26, offering locals and visitors a now two-week long opportunity to indulge in a variety of the city’s finest dining establishments. In addition to the extended campaign, patrons can also take advantage of outdoor seating and enjoy New Haven’s restaurants from home by utilizing to-go menu options.
Special prix fixe menus will be offered at $19 for lunch (two courses) and $36 for dinner (three courses). New this September are to-go dinners, which feed a party of four, offered at $60 (it is recommended to place to-go orders at least 24 hours in advance of pick-up).
Reservations are required for lunch and dinner, all pricing is per person and excludes beverage, tax and gratuity. Due to limited indoor and outdoor reservations, availability for seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Customers are encouraged to check with participating restaurants for operating protocols.
Visitors are asked to follow guidelines from the state and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) while visiting New Haven, including but not limited to wearing a face covering, keeping a physical distance of 6 feet and frequently washing or disinfecting hands.
During New Haven Restaurant Week, Park New Haven will offer a special discounted parking rate of $5 in the Temple Street, Crown Street and Granite Square garages between 5 p.m. – 12 a.m. The Shops at Yale will also offer $5 parking at lots located at 255 Crown Street (behind Pacifico & South Bay) and 161 York Street (behind Harvest Restaurant).
New Haven Restaurant Week is leading the fight against hunger alongside the Connecticut Food Bank. Throughout their 12-year partnership, more than $45,000 has been raised by participating New Haven restaurants to benefit those in need. The partnership has taken new meaning and urgency this year, as the food insecurity rate has risen 44 percent in the six counties serviced by the Connecticut Food Bank. Patrons can donate to support hunger relief by scanning the QR code at the 25 participating restaurants or by clicking the donation button on the official New Haven Restaurant Week page.
