Pandemic Pivot Puts Hartford's InsurTech Ecosystem On Global Stage Hartford one of just a few stops on InsurTech Connect World Tour
The show must go on! The annual global InsurTech Connect (ITC) event in Las Vegas has shifted from an in-person gathering of insurtech leaders to the ITC + DIA World Tour event, which stops in Hartford on September 10 from 2-5 p.m. The innovative program offers insurtech startups the chance to compete and showcase their talents at the ITC Global Competition.
“Hartford’s insurtech ecosystem is a world-class powerhouse and we’re honored to be one of the global stops on this tour,” said Stacey Brown, Founder, InsurTech Hartford. “It also helps reinforce our role as a global leader in insurtech.”
In addition to the competition component of the program, attendees also have the opportunity to network with insurtechs from across the globe, hear from insurtech experts and discover new organizations that could serve as future partners. Hartford’s stop is a collaboration between Insurtech Hartford, CT Insurance and Financial Services and LAUNC[H].
“These organizations foster the need for new ideas supported by emerging technologies and talent,” added Brown. “While we gain a lot of insight and knowledge each year in Las Vegas, we embrace hosting this event right here in our backyard and continuing to drive the insurtech movement in Hartford.”
Brown also noted that prospective competitors can submit their application by August 28, and selections will be announced on September 2.
