WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP)
It is Farmers’ Market season and you may eligible to receive checks to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at approved Farmers’ Markets throughout Connecticut. Since WIC offices are providing all services over the phone, Farmers’ Market checks will be mailed to eligible participants following a WIC appointment. If you recently had a WIC appointment and believe you may be eligible, please contact your local WIC office.
Use your Farmers’ Market checks to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables to cook healthy at home. We know that attendance at Farmers’ Markets in the past has been a family experience. In these times of social distancing we ask that when possible you limit the number of family members shopping at your local Farmers’ Market.
