Gary Sinise Foundation Gifts New Home To Massachusetts Army Vet

An Army veteran who was injured by a roadside bomb while serving in Afghanistan now has a new home that’s fully wheelchair accessible, all thanks to the Gary Sinise Foundation. Greg Galeazzi lost both of his legs and part of his arm in the accident, but he hasn’t let that stop him from pursuing his dreams.

The retired Army Captain recently finished up his third year at Harvard Medical School and has a family with another baby on the way. They’ve been living in apartments, which have been difficult for him to navigate in his wheelchair. But now they can spread out and enjoy their new custom-designed home, created with Greg’s needs in mind. It’s the 65th home the Gary Sinise Foundation has gifted to an injured veteran.

Greg calls the house “incredible” and says there’s a lot to be thankful for. He explains, “I’m feeling very humbled and grateful for everything that the Gary Sinise Foundation and so many donors have contributed.”
