Add “Who’s the Boss?” to the reboot list.Tony Danza and Alyssa Milanoare currently attached to the new version, which will focus on Tony Micelli’s relationship with his daughter, who’s now a single mother who lives in the house where the original series was set. While Judith Light and Danny Pintaura aren’t currently involved yet, they might be if the creators can figure out a way to work their characters into the show.
The new show will take place 30 years after the events of the original series and be centered around former major-league baseball player and retired housekeeper Tony Micelli (Danza) and his relationship with his daughter Samantha Micelli (Milano), who is now a single mother and living in the house in which the original series was set.
Mona was the best character on that show, but Katherine Helmond passed away in 2018.
