Unearthed Johnny Cash Live Album Set For A Release Next Month!

Johnny Cash fans are getting a new live album next month.Jack White’s Third Man Records announced they’ll release the newly unearthed “A Night To Remember” on July 31st. 

The performance was recorded back in 1973 as part of a the “A Week To Remember” concerts, which were put on by Columbia Records and record exec Clive Davis. It was recorded at the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles, and features guest appearances by June Carter Cash and Carl Perkins.

The Third Man Records release will come out as a 2-LP set with a gold foil LP jacket. It will consist of a “double vintage white LP,” and a gold 7″ with two “unreleased Forever Words pieces by Ruston Kelly and a mystery artist.” There will also be a DVD of the performance.
