Are you looking to add to your pack? Archie is looking for the same. He would do best in a home where there is another dog to play with and have the opportunity to be great canine friends. Archie’s new owners should have experience with dogs that will help guide him along his journey of being a great house companion. He is known to be a big goof ball, showing off his playful antics for anybody and everybody to witness. His playful nature takes center stage. Archie is known to have the perfect amount of playfulness and chill. He loves going for walks but also enjoys nap-time on a big soft dog bed. Archie loves people but can become too curious around cats. He will need a home that doesn't have the feline temptations. Archie’s CT foster mom says, “Archie has done great with the kids. No jumping on them, etc. We would say he is family/kid friendly.”
Leash training is coming along for Archie. He can be destructive when left alone, so an owner who works at home would be ideal. Archie is not crate trained (he has escaped from crates). Although he’s not a fan of the crate, his foster family says he loves going to doggy daycare while they’re at work. He is a go-getter kind of pup that really wants to nail down his training. With consistency and patience, Archie will gladly follow his owner's lead and master his skill set. If you are looking for a smart, sweet, and lovable pup, Archie might be the dog you are looking for. He will shine with his warm personality and be the perfect addition to a loving home.
