Did Carole Baskin kill her husband? Was Joe Exotic wrongly convicted? Harvey Levin Zoomed into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Monday, April 13, and shared with Ryan Seacrest in just six days TMZ put together a telling special for Tiger King Netflix fans that dives deeper into the murder mystery.
TMZ Investigates Tiger King — What Really Went Down? is an hour-long special hosted by Levin and features interviews with people close to the currently incarcerated former zookeeper as well as new footage.
“The docuseries is amazing,” Harvey shared on-air. “It is a crazy story … it’s an alarming crime story and that’s what we wanted to get into. We interviewed 19 people … and the big thing people wonder about is did Carole Baskin — the arch-nemesis of Joe Exotic — did she kill her husband Don?”
Harvey shared they interviewed the Sheriff and it was extremely telling.
“He said to us a.) that he’s suspicious of her … and he said he’s suspicious of others,” Harvey teased of the special. “He’s convinced … that there was more than one person involved.”
Harvey added the special may also change people’s minds when it comes to Joe Exotic’s sentencing.
“I thought he probably did do it … I’m not so sure anymore,” Harvey concluded, teasing his chat with alleged hired hitman Allen Glover has made him think otherwise. “Allen [Glover] told me that Joe Exotic was such a horrible human being, that he caused so much misery to people and to animals, that he wished he could have done more to him … and that, in my mind, as a lawyer, that shows bias … I couldn’t believe he said that to me.”
