Given the State of Emergency in CT, the Chrysalis Center has had to make the decision to cancel their Empty Bowls dinner to benefit Freshplace on Wednesday, March 25th.
From Chrysalis Center:
"We will use this time to educate the public about the hunger in our local community and hope to inspire you today to donate and support Freshplace, our innovative food pantry which provides critical support and nutritious food to 300+ individuals each year living in the poorest neighborhoods in Hartford.
We hope you will be inspired and make a charitable contribution NOW of $20 or more to help keep our Freshplace program running and serving these families in need. We are hoping to double our fundraising efforts virtually during this critical time. "
