The 37th Annual Foodshare Walk Against Hunger is Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Dunkin’ Donuts Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats. Along with our Presenting Sponsor, Stop & Shop, we are excited to Walk with you as we bring awareness to the issue of food insecurity in Hartford and Tolland counties. The Foodshare Walk Against Hunger is the largest anti-hunger Walk in Connecticut. Funds raised from the Walk help support not only Foodshare but the partner programs that help us serve the 118,000 people in Greater Hartford who struggle with hunger, including 33,000 children.
There will be plenty of fun on Walk day, the event is FREE and that includes live entertainment, like Hartford’s Proud Drill, Drum & Dance Corp, balloon artists, face painters and of course, baby goats!
Join a team or create your own! It’s easy! Fun prizes will be awarded so encourage your family and friends to get involved. Your fundraising efforts will help Foodshare continue to provide relief for people struggling with hunger, as well as support long-term efforts to increase access to healthy food while addressing the underlying issues that contribute to hunger.
