So Sharon Osbourne has been hyping up Ozzy Osbourne’s collaboration with Elton John.The track is finally here, and Ozzy hasn’t only teamed up with Elton – who sings and plays piano on the track – but also with Guns N’ Roses’ Slash and Duff McKagan and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
Smith calls it a “‘November Rain’-ish” single by “two iconic, legendary English rockers singing about the end of their lives.” “Slash is a dear friend of mine, as is Elton,” Ozzy adds. “When I was writing ‘Ordinary Man,’ it reminded me of an old Elton song… we asked [him to sing on it] and lo and behold, he agreed.”
Not only that, but Ozzy has also revealed the release date of his first new album in almost a decade. “Ordinary Man” drops on February 21st and can be pre-ordered HERE.Check out the song to the right.
