Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a rigorous and innovative learning environment that inspires our students to achieve academic excellence, embody selfless service, and persist in solving problems as they develop into tomorrow's civic leaders.

About the Theme

CREC Civic Leadership High School develops students into leaders in their communities and prepares them for success in college and career with rigorous studies. Students are encouraged to use problem solving as a leadership development tool. Our focus is on students graduating as engaged community members through extensive public service and involvement in various community and civic outreach activities. Upon graduation, our students are ready to take on an active leadership role in college, the workplace and community.

Community & School Information

CREC Civic Leadership High School is a public regional magnet school managed by the Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) and located in Enfield, CT. Our students come from districts throughout the region including Hartford and surrounding communities. Admission is managed through the CT Department of Education’s Regional School Choice Office.
