As music legends like Elton John, KISS,and Slayer wrap up their farewell treks,The Rolling Stones are showing no signs of stopping. The band has revealed that they’re hard at work on their first new album since 2016, which will actually be their first record of new music since 2005.
The upcoming, untitled album will be their follow-up to 2016’s cover album “Blue & Lonesome,” and their first new original tunes since 2005’s “A Bigger Bang.” Along with releasing the album next year, the Stones are planning on getting back on the road for a world tour.
“The new album is like a puzzle, we still have to put the missing pieces together,” says Ronnie Wood. “We hope to release it in 2020 and then continue our world tour.”
