In England, a builder named Steve Thompson won a huge lottery jackpot worth $139 million.
But instead of figuring out ways to spend all that money and change his life, Steve decided he wanted to “stay normal” and keep working.
He did make one change, though. Since winning the lottery, Steve now refuses to charge several clients for jobs he has completed since the huge win, instead letting customers keep their money to buy Christmas presents.
Steve says that going back to work has helped him ease the stress of instantly becoming rich and famous. And, he’s happy to share the wealth with his customers by finishing as many jobs as possible before Christmas, free of charge. (Daily Mail)
