Meet The Boss That Handed Out 10 Million Dollars In Holiday Bonuses!

It is not very often that a company will reach a goal and award every single employee, but that’s how St. John Properties in Baltimore rolls.

The real estate firm hit its goal of developing 20 million square feet of space in eight states, so the rewards were handed out. Founder and chairman Edward St. John surprised the 198 employees at their annual holiday party by giving each one a red envelope.

Packed into it, each worker was given a bonus check in the amount of 50-thousand dollars or higher depending on years of service. Everyone from the maintenance staff to receptionists, brokers and executives got one. Some staff got as much as 250-thousand dollars. All totaled the bonuses amounted to 10-million dollars.

Edward St. John shared "To celebrate the achievement of our goal, we wanted to reward our employees in a big way that would make a significant impact on their lives. I am thankful for every one of our employees, for their hard work and dedication. I couldn't think of a better way to show it."

Obviously, everyone in attendance was moved to tears. Now that’s how to build company loyalty.
