Free homes are being given away in one town in Italy for anyone who moves there.
At least 12 houses are available in the town of Cammarata. The mayor is offering the deal to build up the population. But of course, there's a catch. The homes are not in the best shape and need to be fixed up within three years. If you want one of these houses, you must present a renovation proposal. Plus, the new owners must put down a 55-hundred dollar deposit that will be returned once the work is done.
Young couples with children would receive priority and they’re eligible for a bonus of one thousand dollars if they have a baby in the town.
The town is located in Sicily and looks out on the highest volcano in Europe.
