Ozzy Osbourne is putting out his first new solo single in nearly a decade today. Yesterday, the Black Sabbath legend teased the release on his Twitter account, revealing that a “new song” is coming sometime today.
The tweet includes a 13-second preview of the song, revealing only some acoustic guitar and atmospheric vocals. The song will be Ozzy’s first release since 2010’s “Scream,” which peaked in the 12th spot on the Billboard 200. After that, he put his solo career on hold to focus on Black Sabbath’s reunion.
After Sabbath wrapped up in 2017, Ozzy was back to work on his solo material… until it was put on hold again along with his touring plans as he suffered multiple injuries and pneumonia this year. Luckily, he’s now on the mend and apparently back on track with his music.
Ozzy is set to perform at Mohegan Sun this summer..
