Andrella “Lashae” Jackson was pulled over by a Milwaukee police officer for not having her two young daughters in car seats and the single mom of five thought she’d be getting a hefty ticket. But instead Officer Kevin Zimmerman gave her a verbal warning and asked why she didn’t have the car seats.
Jackson explained that she couldn’t afford them at the time, so Officer Zimmerman decided to help her out. He went to Walmart and bought two car seats for her little girls, along with some kids’ books and stickers. Then he went to her house and installed the car seats himself!
The father of three says he was raised to “do the right thing even if no one is looking.”
