High School Football Team Grows & Cuts Hair For Childhood Cancer Patients!

Members of a high school football team in Oklahoma got a special haircut recently in order to donate their hair to kids undergoing cancer treatment.

A number of guys on the Davenport High School Bulldogs had been growing their hair out as a form of team bonding. And, some of the guys had been growing their hair out for years.

But they decided to change things up and help others by getting their hair cut -- and then donating that hair to the organization Children with Hair Loss, which makes the hair available to kids in need.

Thanks to the decision of these football players, the kids will enjoy greater self-confidence and renewed self-esteem as they work through their medical challenges. (KOCO-TV)
