The Connecticut Pet Expo is coming!!!

CONNECTICUT PET EXPO

Oct 19 - 20 , 2019

The Connecticut Pet Expo returns to Hartford CT this October at the XL Center! The Family fun pet expo is being held throughout the weekend on Saturday October 19, 10 am-6 pm and Sunday October 20 from 10 am-4 pm. Pet owners and pet lovers in Connecticut and New England will have the chance to be educated and entertained about the wonderful world of pets. Featuring vendors, educational and entertaining performances and special attractions.

Some of this year’s highlights are:

  • Jessica Edgerly and the Central K9 Dogs -Jessica Edgerly and her world caliber Frisbee dogs will be performing at the Connecticut Pet Expo all weekend.
  • Rainforest Reptile Show – an exciting, fascinating adventure through the rare and endangered reptile world! Many exotic reptiles will be slithering around at the show.
  • Horizon Wings and Blue Moon Raptors Birds of Prey Educational Presentation- Learn the characteristics and behaviors of these majestic birds.
  • TICA Championship Cat Show – for cat lovers, this is a purrific way to see all different breeds of cats up close!
  • Top Hat and Tails- K-9 Freestyle Demonstrations-See Dancing with Dogs to music! It is a fun sport for the owners, dogs and audience. All are members of the World Canine Freestyle Organization.
  • Dog Lovers Day Lure Course! Dogs will have a blast running through the lure course and testing out their agility while letting out some energy! Dog love to zip through this course and it’s a blast to watch! (Additional fee charged).
  • Halloween Pet Costume Contest- Dress up your pet for a Halloween Costume Contest! This fun event is open to all pets check the website for additional information.
  • East Hartford K9 Police Demonstration – these popular demonstrations are designed to portray the skill involved and the work performed by the K9 teams plus give both children and adults an opportunity to learn about the K9 Unit
  • NEW Rabbit Hopping? Yep, think steeple chase for your bunny. Adventure Bunny will present rabbit hopping demonstrations at the show all weekend. Come see a side to rabbits that few think possible.
