The Polaris Awards gala is our annual signature fundraising event that recognizes “guiding lights” in our community. Each fall, hundreds of diverse leaders from every sector in the Greater Hartford area come together to support the mission of LGH and recognize honorees who strengthen community, leadership, and connections in our region.

This year, the Polaris Award recipients will be recognized in three categories that reflect the three pillars of LGH: Community, Leadership, and Connections.

The Community Award: Recognizing an individual, an organization or business committed to the common good and leading the way to make our region more vibrant.

The Connection Award: Recognizing an LGH initiative or program task force project or team project, created during the last 15 years, that has created a lasting and compounding impact for the betterment of the region. This award will be narrowed down to the top three nominees prior to the event. Voting and announcement of the winner will happen live at Polaris!

The Leadership Award: Recognizing an individual who embodies the five values of Leadership Greater Hartford: Leadership, Community, Diversity, Engagement, and Collaboration.
