4 Teens Run Into Burning House To Save 90-Year-Old Neighbor!!

A 90-year-old woman in Oklahoma is alive and well thanks to four teenagers who risked their lives to rush into her burning house to save her.Catherine Ritchie was getting ready for bed at her house in Sapulpa when the fire started in her bedroom. She tried to put the flames out by herself, but she eventually called 911 and pressed her emergency button.

But Catherine couldn’t find her way out of her house because of all the smoke. Fortunately for her, a group of four teens were outside on their way to a convenience store when they smelled the smoke and then heard the house alarm, so they rushed to help. Of the boys, all between 14 and 17, 14-year-old Nick Byrd managed to get inside through a back door and found Catherine lost in the smoke.

He got her outside safely and firefighters arrived and put out the flames before the fire spread. Catherine says she’s grateful for her heroes, adding, “They were just special, as young as they were.”
