Sunflowers for Wishes 2019

Buttonwood Farm

473 Shetucket Turnpike, Griswold, CT 06351

July 20th-28th

Each year we plant over 14 acres of sunflowers and harvest approximately 300,000 blooms for your viewing pleasure and to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut, a non-profit organization dedicated to granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Sunflowers are available while supplies last. Bouquets of 5 sunflowers will be given in exchange for a $10 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut. Due to overwhelming demand, we are unable to reserve or hold sunflower bouquets. There are no flowers available for U-Pick or cut-your-own.

100% of proceeds of our sunflower sales are given directly to Make-A-Wish, as well as proceeds from our t-shirt sales, which feature a unique sunflower design each season.

Over the past 13 seasons growing sunflowers we have been able to donate over one million dollars to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, thanks to the generosity of our visitors.
