King is the sweetest 4 month old pup. He was found at a park in Hamden on 3/27 and brought to Cheshire VCA. His bloated belly is from fluid accumulation due to his heart.
He's been at the North Haven Animal Hospital where they did more tests and continued care.
He had an appointment with a cardiologist on 5/1 where he was officially diagnosed with cor triatriatum dexter imperforate. A rare congenital malformation of the heart..
The cardiologist believes King is a good candidate for surgery and should be able to live a normal life.
