A family grew by six in a matter of minutes Friday, according to Woman's Hospital of Texas.
Thelma Chiaka gave birth to sextuplets, two girls named Zina and Zuriel and four boys, whose names were not revealed. And it all happened in the span of 9 minutes, the hospital said in a press release.
The babies weighed between one pound, 12 ounces and two pounds, 14 ounces.
According to the hospital, mom is doing well and the babies are in stable condition. They will continue to receive care in the hospital’s advanced neonatal intensive care unit.
The hospital says there a 1-in-4.7 billion. chance for someone to give birth to sextuplets.
