I can't tell you what a BLAST I had Friday night March 1st MC'ing "A Starry Night" Senior Prom at Elim Park. A retirement community in Cheshire, I was recruited by my girlfriend Nicole who runs the food services there to host the night...and when I say recruited, I mean she told management I'd do it and THEN informed me if I didn't do it that we were OVER! LOL.
With help from Adam Rivers, it was a wonderful evening with the senior citizen residents of Elim Park. We did shout outs, played Frank Sinatra, Chubby Checker, Jack Benny and all the favorites from the 40's & 50's! I had the opportunity to meet not one, not two but THREE CENTENARIANS, crowed a Prom King & Queen and enjoyed a dance routine from the Quinnipiac University dance squad!
