Put Yourself In Her Shoes! Each year, an ever-increasing number of men, women and their families are joining the award-winning Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®: The International Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence. A Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® Event is a playful opportunity for men to raise awareness in their community about the serious causes, effects and remediations to men's sexualized violence against women.
The WALK is scheduled for Sunday, April 28th, 2019 (rain or shine) with a 12:00 noon check-in. The WALK begins at 1:00 pm out of Lisman’s Landing at 37 Helwig Street in Milford. All awards and festivities following the WALK will be held at Lisman’s Landing. Join us after the Walk for an after party celebration!!
After Registering, you will receive:
• a WALK A Mile In Her Shoes flyer
• collection envelopes for you to use in collecting your pledge dollars
Ask your friends, neighbors, colleagues, & relatives to sponsor you to raise dollars to support the mission of the Center. The following awards will be given to individual walkers.
GOLD – Raise $150 and get a T-shirt and a $25 gift card to TARGET
SILVER – Raise $75 and get a T-shirt and choose a bag or beach towel
BRONZE – Raise $25 and get a Walk T-shirt
