Listen as Renee talks with Dr. Grow of the Center for Advanced Reproductive Services, an academic affiliate of the UConn School of Medicine. Dr. Grow shares all of the wonderful ways that the Center for Advanced Reproductive Services helps families across the state. It is the largest fertility program in CT and one of the most successful in the country. Dr. Grow also shares about the newest office in Branford and about the services that it will provide, beginning in March. Listen below for all of the info!

Branford office services include (Opening in March):

  • Office visits for initial infertility consults, IVF & IUI consults, follow-ups, pre- and post-operative visits, and access to psychological and support visits
  • IUIs
  • IVF & IUI cycle monitoring & pregnancy ultrasounds
  • Diagnostic testing including sonohysterograms, endometrial biopsies, and HSG’s
  • Education classes for IVF, injection teaching and others
  • Diagnosis & treatment of reproductive hormonal disorders
  • Andrology testing

Daniel Grow, MD, MHCM is a Lead Physician at the Center as well as our Associate Fellowship Director.

Dr. Grow is Board Certified in Obstetrics 
and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. Formerly affiliated with Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA, Dr. Grow was a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the new University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate, and Chairman of the department of ObGyn for Baystate Health System. After training in reproductive endocrinology in Norfolk VA, he led the IVF program at Baystate for 15 years, pushing their efforts toward excellence, with high pregnancy rates and leading the nation in single embryo transfer and minimizing preterm delivery.

Dr. Grow has long had an interest in health care quality. He has contributed to 40 peer reviewed publications, which have focused on optimizing ovarian stimulation, improving embryo transfer, and mastering techniques in reproductive surgery. He specializes in the reproductive medicine needs of his patients and gives them individualized care, honed through many years of experience.

He graduated with his medical degree in 1987 from Pennsylvania State University and he completed his residency in Ob/Gyn from York Hospital in PA. His fellowship in reproductive endocrinology was completed at The Jones Institute- Eastern Virginia Medical School. He recently graduated with an M.S. in Health Care Management from Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Grow is also a Professor, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at UConn.

Dr. Grow has been selected annually since 2001 as a “Best Doctor in America”, a special honor given to the top 5% of physicians in over 400 subspecialties.

Dr. Grow is involved in all aspects of infertility and is a passionate advocate for quality and safety in women’s health.
