Make-A-Wish Made 16 Football Dreams Come True Last Night

Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 16 young football fans who are critically ill had their wish come true. They all got tickets to the Super Bowl and an all-access stadium tour, including a look inside players’ locker rooms.

Among the recipients of the Super Bowl surprise were 11-year-old Lucky Kelley, 19-year-old Brian Barrios, and 18-year-old Gunter Garvin . All three of them love the sport and were thrilled to have their wish to see the game granted. It seems the kids really relate to a sport where players get knocked down and have to get up and keep going.

"They have to keep going on no matter what because the goal is to win that trophy,” explains Barrios, who has Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. “So my goal is to get back up from this disease."
