Celebrate Oktoberfest at the Hartford Saengerbund

The Hartford Saengerbund will celebrate the season with an Oktoberfest party from 1-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13. German wursts (sausages) and schnitzel will be served along with Oktoberfest style and other German beers as well as a variety wines, spirits and soft drinks.

Live music will be provided by John Banker and the Tubafrau band. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 17 and younger, food and drink sold separately.This event will be held rain or shine.

The Hartford Saengerbund was established in 1858 as a German-American singing society and social club. Its motto is “Treu Dem Deutschen Lied,” or “True to the German Song.” The public is welcome at all of its events.
