4th Annual Michael E Walsh Memorial 5K
The 4th Annual Michael E Walsh Memorial 5K is being held on October 21st at Riverside Park in Hartford! He was an avid runner, and was training for a marathon on the day he was tragically killed. People from all over come to run in his honor and celebrate his life and love of the sport. Come be a part of this beautiful event and click below to register. WHY OUR RACE?
Michael E. Walsh was a graduate of St. Paul’s Catholic High School in Bristol, CT and Fordham University in Bronx, NY. He was an avid runner, and was training for a marathon on the day he was tragically killed. Michael aspired to become a physician. He was accepted to and planned to matriculate at St. Louis University medical school in August 2015. Proceeds from the race will benefit Protectors of Animals, a non-profit, no kill shelter for cats and dogs. Click the logo below to visit Protectors of Animals' website.
