Guy Pays College Tuition...For Entire Class!

Thanks to a local businessman, families of graduates of the class of 2019 in Luck, Wisconsin are getting a little help with college tuition. Dennis Frandsen, a banker who owns 35 branches of Frandsen Bank and Trust, has offered to pay for two years of technical college for all 34 prospective grads from the town.

Frandsen is a self-made success and he’s happy to give back to the entire high school class. He says he regularly attends high school graduations and noticed that the scholarships almost always go to the very top students, so he decided to spread the wealth to the average students and help them with higher education costs.

And this isn’t the first time Frandsen has been so generous. Last year he made the same offer to the 59-member graduating class of Rush City High School and has done the same for their class of 2019, too. “I thought it was the right thing to do,” he says. “I was able to do it and why shouldn’t I.”
