With the August Primary approaching, one voter registration deadline is Thursday.
The deadline for new or unaffiliated voters to register in person with the local registrar of voters or town clerk of the town of residence is noon on Aug. 13.
Those new or unaffiliated voters who wish to register for the primary by mail is Aug. 9.
New or unaffiliated voters can also register by 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 9 online here, or at the Department of Motor Vehicles by the close of business.
State officials said the deadline to change parties in order to vote on Aug. 14 in the new party has already passed.
