Acts 4 Ministry Seeking Donations Of School Uniforms and Accessories For Annual Back-To-School “Swap and Shop” Event
Through August 15, Acts 4 Ministry Inc., a non-denominational, non-profit charitable organization, is seeking donations of school uniforms and accessories for low-income children of all ages.
The uniforms and accessories will be given free or at low costs to children throughout the Greater Waterbury region during Acts 4 Ministry’s annual Back To School “Swap and Shop” event in August.
Donations needed include:
- New or gently-worn uniform tops in white, black, gray or any shade of blue
- Bottoms in khaki, navy, black and gray. All sizes accepted, especially seek sizes 6, 7, 8, and above
- Accessories needed include book bags, lunch bags, rulers, folders and writing tools
All donations can be brought to Acts 4 Ministry at 1713 Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m., or marked “School Items’ and placed in the organization’s 24/7 White Drop Box outside their building.
Monetary tax-deductible donations can be U.S. Mailed to Acts 4 Ministry, Inc., PO Box 4524, Waterbury, CT 06704 with a memo “Back to School drive”.
