11th Annual BAAC Motorcycle Rally and Adoption Event
Join us for our 11th Annual Rally & Adoption Event on August 18th at the North Haven Fairgrounds. Admission includes food and a drink, but we will also have Live bands, raffles, prizes, beer garden, tons of vendors, and there will also be rescue organizations with adoptable pets!
Last year we had over 600 people through the gates and about 100 vendors of all types and we hope to have more this year! This year Rescue K911 will be in charge of the adoption portion of the Rally which we are so excited for! K911 is an amazing & dedicated organization who goes above and beyond to save animals.
Rules to keep in mind BEFORE you bring your pet
We allow pets at our annual rally. However, please keep a few things in mind.The rally is crowded with people, adoptable pets, children, animals, food, and loud music. If your pet is not comfortable with any of those things – LEAVE THEM HOME.
It will be hot and humid in August – please use your best judgment before bringing your pet to this event – it is a large area to walk with little to no shade. Lastly, your pet may be friendly, but other pets might not be despite our requests & screening. Therefore, all pet owners must follow these rules:
- Have complete physical & verbal control of your pet
- All walking pets must be on leash
- NO retractable leashes & no leashes longer than 4ft
- NO face-to-face greetings
- NO pets in the food area
- NO aggressive/reactive pets!
- Must up to date vaccinations and tags
- Pets must be neutered/spay
- NO pets with communicable diseases, parasites, fleas, etc.
B.A.A.C. understands accidents happen despite the best intentions, however we cannot tolerate any disobedience that will cause harm other animals or people. If you are unsure of your pets reaction or weary of their behavior at an event like this, please be responsible and leave them home where they are comfortable.
