(Meredith) — A white woman in South Carolina is charged with assaulting a black teenager at a community swimming pool and biting a police officer who tried to arrest her following the incident.

Stephanie Sebby-Strempel is accused of telling the 15-year-old boy to leave the pool in Summerville on Sunday because "he did not belong," ABC News 4 reported citing a police report.

Witnesses told police as the boy began to walk away with a group of friends, the woman called him a punk and used racial slurs. Video of the altercation also shows Sebby-Strempel repeatedly hitting the boy in the face while demanding him to “get out.”

The 15-year-old was one of several children who had been invited to the pool by a friend in the neighborhood, according to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office.
