Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter will reprise their classic time-traveling roles as "Ted" Theodore Logan and "Bill" S. Preston Esq in a third installment of the "Bill & Ted" series. "Bill & Ted Face the Music" will see the duo embark on another time-traveling adventure to save the world.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the San Dimas, California-based duo are now middle-aged men with families. While they've had success with their band, Wyld Stallyns, the guys feel they still haven't written a good song (like the one that's supposed to bring harmony to the world?).
After a visitor from the future warns that the two are going to be needed to write a song to save the world, they go on a time-traveling adventure - with their daughters in tow - to seek the song that will fulfill their destiny. Reeves and Winter released a joint statement saying, “We couldn't be more excited to get the whole band back together again.
"Bill & Ted Face the Music" was written by the original creators of the franchise, Chris Matheson and Ed Soloman and will be executive produced by Steven Soderbergh. It follows 1989's "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" and 1991's "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey."
