Budweiser’s going to honor the “father of our country” by replicating a beer recipe from George Washington himself. Their limited-edition Freedom Reserve Red Lager’s going to be a summer beer that’s “brewed by the Veterans that work at Budweiser.” The beer’s proceed will be going to Folds Of Honor – a non-profit that offers scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen soldiers. The recipe comes from hand-written instructions from Washington in 1757 about how to make “small beer.”
