Christopher was diagnosed with ALD at only 7 years old. Join his family and friends on June 2nd at the Terryville Fair Grounds as they host their fundraiser, Miracle for Christopher. There will be a motorcycle ride, car and antique tractor show, live entertainment, raffles and so much more! This family needs your help more now than ever. Join in their fight against ALD!

ABOUT CHRISTOPHER
Christopher James Gray, was a charming 7 year old boy who excelled at school, loved to play around with the guitar, practice karate, and tell stories. He loved to entertain and make people laugh. He was loving & compassionate. He was always a friend, never a bully.
On December 28th 2016, his family received a heartbreaking diagnosis—Christopher has Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD), a rare and fatal genetic disease that affects 1 in 18,000 males. This degenerative brain disorder destroys myelin, the protective sheath that surrounds the brain's nerve cells that allow us to think and to control our muscles. It has already affected his sight, hearing, eating and walking, amongst other things. As his symptoms grow worse, he has the potential to experience seizures, and dementia will be setting in. Sadly, this downward spiral will lead to permanent disability and death within 3 years.
Christopher's family is devastated and will need a tremendous amount of support. As the disease continues to progress, there will be other day-to-day needs, medical expenses, and loss of work as they do everything to help Christopher stay comfortable. He is their only child. What the family wants most for Christopher, are prayers to our Lord Jesus Christ for healing. Thank you.
