ACO Sherry Speaks Out :Temps lead to animal deaths & animal cruelty cases.

Frigid temps lead to animal deaths and many animal cruelty cases.

The journey has been a long one, with many highs and lows along the way. On January 8, 2018 The City of Hartford welcomes Animal Control Officer Sherry DeGenova back after being laid off due to budgetary cuts more than a year ago. This can't come soon enough for animal advocates, as they know this is more than a job for Sherry, this is her passion and she has never stopped helping people and their pets thourgh this entire wait for her job back!

One major reason people are happy to have her return is her quick response to animals in trouble, considering the amount of cruelty cases lately in the capitol city alone. Especially animals left outside in this frigid cold. Please take a moment to listen to an exclusive interview you will only find here that details her coming back, her gratitude towards all who supported her and how you can help the city of Hartford's animals and police department!
