ANNABELLA’S ANGELS TO HOST 3RD ANNUAL REMEMBERING OUR BABIES WALK
Annabella’s Angels will be hosting their Remembering Our Babies Walk on Sunday, October 1 at 12:30pm in Fulton Park in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
The walk’s goal is to bring awareness to the community and let others who are coping with pregnancy & infant loss know that they are not alone. The two mile walk gives parents and families what they want most: an occasion to remember and to celebrate their angels, amongst other families who share the experience and feelings of losing a child. There will be tears, there will be laughter, there will be hope, there will be healing. Each family that attends will receive a pink, blue, or yellow pinwheel in honor of their angel.
Registration is $10 per person and free for children under 10. Registration information can be on www.annabellasangels.com.
All proceeds from event will be used to help the organization continue to provide CuddleCots and supports to Connecticut Hospitals. Any businesses and individuals interested in supporting this event can contact Jessica Ocasio at admin@annabellasangels.com.
Annabella's Angels is A 501(c)(3) non-profit raising funds to purchase and donate a CuddleCot in Annabella and her angel friends' memory so that other families facing the tragic loss of their beautiful babies, due to stillbirth or later term miscarriage, can have the precious gift of time. So far Annabella's Angels has placed five CuddleCots: St. Mary's, Waterbury Hospital, Bristol Hospital, Hartford Hospital, and Bridgeport Hospital; and is set to place a sixth CuddleCot in St. Francis Hospital. Annabella's Angels' mission is to provide supports, awareness, and education for Pregnancy and Infant Loss families and medical professionals.
