According to the American Red Cross they are trying to make sure peoples basic needs are being met and are working with many community partners.
Harvey is a catastrophic flooding event and will take months if not years for communities to recover. Harvey had dumped an estimated 15 trillion gallons over East Texas. Round two of Tropical Storm Harvey caused more heartbreak across Texas & Louisiana.

Volunteer: The Red Cross is greatly in need of volunteers to help with warehousing, shelter management, supply distribution and administrative support. Those interested in volunteering can register at redcross.org/volunteer.

Emergency Grants for Broadcasters: The Broadcasters Foundation of America provides emergency & disaster grants to radio broadcasters in acute financial need and who may not have insurance to cover their losses after a natural disaster, such as a hurricane, tornado or wildfire, extreme flooding, house fire or other serious misfortune. An additional organization that our stations are supporting will focus exclusively on raising money for local residents affected by the storm: Coastal Bend Community Foundation's Coastal Bend Disaster Recovery Group.
Right now, The Salvation Army has 42 mobile kitchens set up in the disaster zone and it is providing 1,500 meals a day, along with water, clothing and blankets.
